Yarn: Simplicity by HikooSimplicity by HiKoo®

A value yarn that is an excellent choice for afghans, children’s wear, and anything else that gets daily use.
This machine washable wool blend feels like butter in your hands while knitting, but is a true “work horse” of a yarn.

So we hope you will drop by. We always have so much fun here. And each one of you are a part of it. If you are interested in a complete listing of our calendar of events, click here. Wendy Motsinger has this crocheted design pattern available as an instant download in her Etsy Shop for $3.50. Go check it out and make yourself a Porg….then share the cuteness.

Star Wars Double Knit Scarf by Jessica Goddard

Star Wars Double Knit Scarf by Jessica Goddard

Double knitting!!! Oh my! This scarf is absolutely a show stopper. Jessica’s description on the pattern’s Raverly page is too perfect not to share:

“The double knitting technique is great. It has a light side, and a dark side, it binds the scarf together… you can see where I’m going with this can’t you.”

Best yet, this pattern is FREE! I know right. Don’t know how to Double Knit? We recently had a class from the phenomenal Sara Ray and will have another one very soon.  You can find this Star Wars Double Knitted Scarf here. Make it, wear it, love it!!!

Yoda baby bottle cozy by Gabrielle Theriault

Yoda baby bottle cozy by Gabrielle Theriault

Talking about the perfect gift for that Star Wars loving ‘parent to be’ geek in your life. You know the force is strong with this one.  This is a Yoda Baby Bottle Cozy.  So stinking cute!

I wonder if it could double as a beer bottle or water bottle cozy? Hummmm…try I will.

If you make this one for a bottle of any kind let me know, or if I make it first I’ll totally share. 😉

You can find this pattern as a free Ravelry download here. Be careful to note there is a pattern ERRATUM
on Step 4 in “Body and head” should read: k2,k2tog 8 times. It’s always good to know going in of any corrected errors exist to save yourself a headache.

May the Fourth be with you!

Again, if you make something from our post be sure to share with us on Instagram @TheTwistedPurl or on Facebook.
