So we’d better get this party started!
Hello, my fellow yarnaholics!
I’m coming off a great show in Memphis. It is always so much fun meeting the fans of The Twisted Purl in person and making new ones.
“You like me! You really like me!”
Thanks so much to the amazing Mid South Market Media Group for putting together such a great show. We were put right across from the tasty cupcakes from AnnOlivia’s Sweet Shop and were tempted all weekend long. So much for my diet! Every calorie was worth it. Yum!
We were also right next to the Wine Garden. Hello!!! You know that made me one happy girl.
Have to give a shout out to the lady who came by while I was spinning and said “Wow! You get to sit here, spin yarn, and watch all these drinking people.” Yes, and it was glorious!
Lastly, I have to thank my Mama. She went all the way to Memphis with me to help out in the booth. Told her it was the volunteer state after all. Couldn’t have done it without her.
And since we are talking about events let me tell you where I will be next.
Conway Handmade Market – Saturday, April 18, 10am-4pm
Carl Stuart Middle School’s Big Gym
2745 Carl Stuart Road, Conway
The Conway Handmade Market showcases many great local artist. I had a booth this past December in their Holiday Handmade Market and had a blast. If you are in or near Conway this Saturday, drop by and see me.
Etsy Little Rock presents: 5th Annual Indie Arts & Music Festival – Saturday, April 25, 11am-6pm
On Kavanaugh, from Spruce to Walnut, Hillcrest, Little Rock, AR
I am so excited to once again be a part of the Indie Arts & Music Festival by the Etsy Little Rock Team. Etsy is place for finding handmade from around the globe. Way-back when I started the original Arkansas Etsy Street Team and it’s just exciting to see where this group has gone from it’s humble beginnings. So come spend the day enjoying local makers and musicians from this part of the Natural State showing off their creative talents and see how they contribute to the Handmade Story.
There’s also another surprise and BIG announcement around the corner. But you’ll have to wait. I know, as Tom Petty says, “The waiting is the hardest part.’
