"Did you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 41:28-31
The Twisted Purl: On a mission to help knit lives to Christ one stitch at a time. In Christ alone, I find my strength. My inspirations come from the beautiful pictures God paints us each day.
My name is Cyndi Minister and I live in Conway, Arkansas. We moved to the Natural State, in February of 2007, from Fresno, California. I was an Air Force brat who moved a lot at a young age. We settled in Fresno when I was in elementary school. I tried my hand at college right after high-school and really wasn't ready, but sure did have a lot of fun. If only I had known my major should have been Fiber Arts, I may have actually attended class. I have three boys and a wonderful husband, who I couldn't manage without. My life is turned upside down about 95% of the time. Living upside down definitely makes life much more interesting. I am an avid knitter. Most knitters have yarn stashes, well, a "stash", for me, would be an understatement. My sister calls me "The Crazy Yarn Lady" and I sheepishly admit, it's true. Knitting introduced me to yarn. A new love affair spawned. I wanted all the yarn I could get my hands on and then I wanted more. Learning to hand paint yarn and then spin my own, only seemed to be the most natural next step, besides owning a sheep that is. Just for the record, I do not own a sheep, or plan to...unfortunately, it's against my home-owners association rules. Darn them! I do have a fantastic adopted sheep named Honey. She is a Moorit Horned Ewe and is in the care of Cheryl, at the Woolly Manor. I am also a proud share holder of the Martha's Vineyard Fiber Farm.
